Details have recently been released about the passing of a 20-year-old Odessa student that was involved in an accident on Interstate 20, involving an 18 wheeler and the vehicle that she was traveling in.
According to sources, Ms. Terriah Kerla Cooper from Brooklyn, NY was traveling from Odessa to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex with two other Odessa College students when the vehicle they were in collided with the truck.
While details of the incident are still being investigated, the two other occupants – Jasmin Drew and AJ Daniels were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening personal injuries and the severity of the accident required local authorities from the Willow Park fire department, the Department of Public Safety troopers and Life-care EMS to close the roadway for several hours.
