Anderson, Cummings & Drawhorn, LLP is proud to announce that Lexi Freeman, a student at Richland High School, has been awarded one of the firm’s two Scholarships for Higher Education.
As part of her application, Freeman wrote a compassionate essay about how her uncle’s paralysis inspired her to pursue a medical career in the hope of improving the lives of those who have been afflicted with debilitating medical conditions.
She shared that at an early age, despite his affliction, her uncle was full of life and devotion – something she also saw in herself. At the age of four, she declared that she would pursue a career in the medical field. To this day, she remains resilient in that choice, despite encouragement from others that she choose an easier path.
Freeman is someone who strives to achieve the impossible and refuses to settle for anything less. Because of this we are proud to award her with our scholarship.
On behalf of the entire staff of Anderson, Cummings & Drawhorn, LLP, we commend Lexi Freeman on winning this year’s Scholarship for Higher Learning.
We wish her the best of luck in her future education and her pursuit of achieving the impossible.
